WRRL fixtures update ### updated 17/02/16 ### Print

A new 5K race has been added to the WRRL this year on Wednesday June 29th. The start/finish will be at Edmondscote athletics track (Leamington Spa). The race will be on a very accurately measured 5k course and timed with graded timekeeper(s). The course is flat and fast so a likely PB will be the real thing.

All fixtures are detailed here .

Please note, entries are already open for the Massey Easter 5 Mile and the Two Castles opens on 1st March. This one fills up quickly (on the morning I believe) so get in there as soon as possible if interested.

Congratulations to Andy Wadsworth Print

While many Sparkhill Harriers regularly participate in the weekly Parkruns at Cannon Hill and Brueton Parks, one of our members has been going further afield...

Andy Wadsworth regularly runs the Perry Hall Park Run which recently celebrated its first birthday.  This 5K run is multi-terrain and generally tougher than its Birmingham and Solihull counterparts - good cross-country training if you fancy a change.

Andy has performed consistently well over the year and was awarded the certificate for the leading male points score over the year, receiving his award from the Lord mayor of Birmingham.

Well done to Andy.
