Treasurer wanted Print

Due to work relocation we are sad to announce that, after a number of years in the position, Andy Carroll  is stepping down as treasurer at the next AGM. We are therefore looking for someone to take on this position. As far as I know it does not involve dealing with money on a day to day basis but broadly looking after  the clubs accounts. I'm sure Andy would be happy to answer any queries on what the role involves. If anyone is interested in helping the club by taking up the position then please contact Rob Mills (secretary) or Gavin Kidman (chairman).

The club is what its members make it.

Have you ever looked enviously at other clubs fancy kit? Well no need to covet their kit anymore, as we now have a fantastic range of Sparkhill Harriers casual wear for you to wear you club colours with pride!

Stan Watkins Print
It is with sadness that we have learnt of the passing of Stan Watkins.
Stan was Sparkhill Harriers oldest member and, in his earlier years, competed and coached at the club and, latterly, was a regular supporter at cross country and road races where his enthusiasm will be missed by all members currently competing.
Our thoughts go to his family.
The funeral will be held at 1pm on Friday 13th July 2012 at the Robin Hood Cemetery; all are invited to the Tudor Court Hotel, Kineton Green Road for refreshments after the ceremony.
